The camera shoots wide angle, but the “fisheye” effect can be removed with some fairly simple image processing. Enjoy!

I’m starting to work in some flights as I head out on various errands. On January 20th, I was meeting a group of friends for lunch at a restaurant in Hunt Valley, MD. I went up to Google maps to see if I could find a field close to the nearby Cockeysville quarry to launch the Phantom. The quarry is famous for the marble used in the Washington Monument in DC and the thousands of marble steps in front of Baltimore’s famous row houses. I found a great open space between the Quarry and a Lowe’s parking lot I was familiar with. I went out into the field, passing by an small homeless encampment.
